Smith, Edward S. (1870 - 17 APR 1945)

Edward S. Smith, a former resident of Withee and Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) died at the home of his son, Neal, at Medford, Tuesday afternoon. He came to Withee when a small boy and resided there until 1931, when he moved to Owen. In 1935 he moved to Medford and since then has made that city his home. His wife preceded him in death by seven years, and a sister passed away in California last March.

He is survived by four sons, Percy of Thorp, Neal of Medford, George of Owen, and Edward of Medford and four daughters, Alice, Amy, Mildred and Edna.

Funeral services will be held Friday at Medford and interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery, west of Withee.
