Nenahlo, Cecelia M. (24 JAN 1942)

Cecelia Marie Nenahlo and Alex Francis Poziombka were united in marriage on Saturday morning, Jan. 24, at 9 o’clock at the Holy Innocence Catholic church in Manitowoc. The nuptial high mass was sung by the Rev. Ed. A. Rady, a cousin of the bride.

The bride was attired in a gown of Black Velvet, with gold accessories, with matching hat and shoes. She wore a corsage of gardenias and carried a rosary and prayer book. Mrs. Joe Wachel, maid of honor, who is a cousin of the bride, wore a royal blue velvet gown, with gold accessories, with hat and coat to match. Her corsage was also of gardenias.

The groom and best man, Joe Wachel, wore dark suits, with boutonnieres of gardenias.

Dinner was served to the wedding party at the Hotel Hessel in Francis Creek.

The bride, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Nenahlo of York, is one of Clark county’s most successful teachers. She graduated from the Neillsville high school and from the two-year course at Eau Claire. She has followed her profession for the past ten years, at the Willard state graded school, where she teaches in intermediate grades.

Mr. Poziombka is the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Poziombka and for the past few years has had charge of the work on the farm of his parents.

These young folks are at present at the farm of her parents, as Mr. Nenahlo is in very poor health. Mrs. Poziombka is continuing with her schoolwork. Both the bride and groom are members of St. Mary’s church of Neillsville and are active in church circles.

Our best wishes go to this worthy young couple for a long and happy married life.
