Robert Young, 83, of Loyal, died July 4, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. Burial will follow in Loyal Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 6 at Cuddie Funeral Home.

Robert Young

Robert Young, 83, of Loyal, died July 4, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cuddie Funeral Home.

He was born on Dec. 18, 1924, in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of Paul and Hazel (Schupe) Young. He married Ruth Haslow on Sept. 20, 1944, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. He worked for Smith Feed Service until his retirement in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Loyal, his children: JoAnn (Hap) Weyer of Loyal and Bob (Julie) Young of Madison; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Jeannine Young of Loyal.
