Kuhl, Marion (Marriage - 12 June 1946)

Miss Marion Kuhl, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kuhl of Neillsville, and James Nolley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Nolley of Yazoo City, Miss., were married Wednesday, June 12, at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. N. J. Dechant performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with a sweetheart neckline with trimmings of seed pearls and inserts of lace. A tiara of orange blossoms held in place her fingertip length illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Miss Kuhl was given in marriage by her uncle, H. C. Kuhl. Her sister, Mrs. Mack Fradette, was matron of honor and Charlotte Fradette, the bride’s niece, was the ring bearer. Mack Fradette was best man; Darrel Kuhl and Jerry Smith were ushers.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Fradette for the immediate family.

Mrs. Nolley graduated from the Neillsville High School. She served two years as a hospital apprentice in the WAVES, at Corpus Christi, Tex., and Cleveland, O. She received her discharge in February. Mr. Nolley was recently discharged from the navy after three years service. He is now employed as an electrician in Houston, Tex., where the couple will make their home at 4103 Rusk Street.

Out-of-town guests present were the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Kuhl of Eau Claire.
