Lindsley, Pearl #2 (18 MAY 1905)

(Marshfield News)

The marriage of Miss Pearl Lindsley of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) took place at the home of the bride’s mother on South Cherry Street at 10 o’clock Thursday morning. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. F. Young in the presence of relatives and intimate friends.

The parlors were handsomely decorated in smilax and cut flowers and the bridal party approached to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Lizzie Delap and Moses Lupient. The bridal gown was of white China silk and she carried white roses.

A sumptuous wedding breakfast was served, after which the bride and groom left for Minneapolis on a short wedding trip before taking up their residence at Merrillan. Among the guests from out of town were Attorney and Mrs. C. Sturdevant, Mrs. Balch and Arthur and Hazel Flynn of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. F. Cramer of Neenah; and Miss Lippie Delap of Abbotsford, Wis.

The bride is one of Marshfield’s most popular young ladies, rarely talented and universally admired. She is a graduate of the high school course. She leaves a host of friends who, though regretting her departure, wish her happiness and prosperity.

Mr. Flynn is the son of James Flynn, the veteran engineer on the Merrillan run over the Omaha, and is a most estimable young man. He holds the position of fireman on his father’s train and he is a good railroad man.
