------ Meyer, Mary Ann (22 MAY 1965)

A home at route 1, Dorchester awaits the new Mr. and Mrs. Gerald C. Gonnering whose marriage took place Saturday, May 22, at St Louis Catholic church, Dorchester.  The Rev. Gerald F. Schuh officiated at the nuptial high mass and double ring ceremony at one o’clock.

Miss Mary Ann Meyer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Meyer and Gerald C. Gonnering is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gonnering, all of rural Dorchester.

A sister of the bride, Miss Sharon Meyer and a brother of the groom Dennis Gonnering, both of Dorchester, were the honor attendants.  Mr. and Mrs. James Meyer of Stetsonville, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, completed the wedding party.

Bob Gonnering, another brother of the groom, and Bruce Meyer, a cousin of the bride, were the ushers.

Pink roses and white stephanotis were carried by the brined to set off her wedding gown of white peau de soie, fashioned with a belled skirt and detachable train.  The bodice featured a scooped neckline and short sleeves.  A fingertip veil of white silk illusion was secured to a coronet with pearl trim.

The attendants carried flowing cascades of yellow and white carnations to accent their aqua dresses of embossed peau de soie, styled after the bride’s gown.  Their veils were attached to a simple bow.

Mr. Gonnering is a mechanic employed at Gelhaus and Brost at Medford.
