Groh, Ellen E. (26 AUG 1939)

Miss Ellen E. Groh, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. George Groh of Milan, in a simple home ceremony, became the bride of Adolph Diestler, son of Mrs. William Diestler of Wittenberg. The Rev. George Groh, father of the bride, read the service at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.

For her marriage the bride wore an afternoon dress of stone blue with a corsage of gardenias.

Miss Margaret Groh, sister of the bride, of Sparta, attended her sister in an afternoon dress of antique rose and wore a corsage of mixed flowers.

G. Edwin Groh, brother of the bride, of Milwaukee, attended the groom.

A buffet supper was served to about 35 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. Garden flowers furnished the home decorations.

Mr. and Mrs. Diestler left for a trip to the western states and will be at home in Wittenberg about Sept. 15th.

Included in the out of town guests at the wedding were Mrs. Wm. Diestler, Wittenberg; Mr. and Mrs. A. J.
