Mrs. Charles (Chloe Helen) McMillian, 29, of Mount Vernon, Ill., the daughter of Mrs. Delbert (Lula) Struble of Neillsville, died suddenly November 22, (1948), in the Jefferson City Memorial Hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Struble, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Struble, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Struble of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Montag and Marjorie of Chili drove to Mount Vernon immediately on receipt of the news of Mrs. McMillian’s illness, but were unable to reach there before her death. The two Mr. Strubles are Mrs. McMillian’s brothers, and Mrs. Montag is her sister.

Funeral services were held in the Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Vernon on November 24, and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery in Washington County, Ill. Mrs. McMillian was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary. In addition to those above mentioned she is survived by her husband and a son, William Maxey Milner.

She was born in 1918 in Janesville, and in 1942 married Charles S. McMillian in San Luis Obispo, Cal.

An aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Bassinger of Peterson, Ia., also attended the services.
