Miss Mary Kay Bornhofen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bornhofen, Neillsville, Wis. (Clark Co., Wis.), and William Paul Hilt, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Hilt of Owen, Wis. (Clark Co.), exchanged wedding vows in a double ring ceremony in St. Peter and Paul Church, Milwaukee, at 9 o’clock, Tuesday, June 11, 1946. Msgr. Dettinger read the nuptial high mass and the church choir sang the mass. The high altars were decorated with white vases of lilies.

The bride was given away by her father. She was attired in a grey wool crepe dressmaker suit with an ornate white floral headdress. She carried a colonial white nosegay bouquet of gardenias, roses, sweet peas and lace flowers. She chose white accessories to complete her dress.

Miss Ruth Zelke was maid of honor. She wore an aqua wool dressmaker suit, and Miss Gloria Kampine of Milwaukee, the bridesmaid, wore a rose wool dressmaker suit. They carried colonial nosegay bouquets with yellow tea roses, white sweet peas and lace flowers. Both wore white accessories.

The bride’s mother was dressed in a black silk suit trimmed with white lace and a large hat. The groom’s mother chose a black silk suit and a dainty black hat trimmed with white. Both wore white and pink corsages.

The groom wore a grey wool business suit. His best man was a classmate, Kenneth Rashek of Ripon. Harold Anderson of Milwaukee was an usher.

A wedding breakfast was served to members of the immediate families at the Knickerbocker Hotel. A wedding cake and bouquets of snapdragons, white sweet peas and lace flowers decorated the tables.

At two o’clock a reception was given by Mrs. T. T. Kampine, Miss Esther Kampine and Mrs. D. S. McCarthy, at the T. T. Kampine home at 4146 N. 25th St., with Mrs. C. E. Kampine of Marathon and Mrs. M. Weins of Milwaukee serving.

Mr. and Mrs. Hilt are both graduates of the Owen High School.

Mrs. Hilt will be a senior at Milwaukee State Teachers College next year. She is a member of the Mu Beta Sigma Sorority. She has been active in the College Women’s Association, and is an officer in the Inter-sorority Council. She has been a member of the Junior Milwaukee Civic Opera Co.

Before entering the service Mr. Hilt attended St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn., and the University of Wisconsin. The past semester he has completed his pre-dental education at the Milwaukee State Teachers College, and is now enrolled in dental college of Marquette University. He became a commissioned officer in 1944 at the Pampa Army Air Field and has served as a First Lieutenant in the Army Air Forces of the European Army of Occupation.

The out of town guests were, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Hilt, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bornhofen, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. D. S. McCarthy, Antigo; Mrs. P. E. Kampine, Antigo; Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Kampine, son John and daughter Patsy Ann of Marathon City; Mrs. Spellman and daughters Alice and Dorothy of Fond du Lac; Mrs. H. Radke, Mrs. Dilling and son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Radke of Fond du Lac.

After returning from a honeymoon trip in northern Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Paul Hilt will be at home at 521 Grand Av., Port Washington, Wis., for the summer.
