Thorp Happenings - Mrs. Henry Driessen, 65, a former resident of Thorp is dead at Stanley. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Milton Stair of Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Henry Gygi of Holcomb and Mrs. Victor Gordeau of Flambeau.

Driessen, Anna Justine Henke (11 NOV 1884 - 18 AUG 1949)

Mrs. Henry Driessen, 65, of Stanley, a former resident of the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at the Chippewa Falls hospital on Aug. 18th, 1949.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Milton Stair, Klamath Falls, Oregon, Mrs. Henry Gygi, Holcombe and Mrs. Victor Gordeau, Flambeau, three brothers and two sisters and six grandchildren.

The funeral was held at St. Mary’s Church, Stanley, Monday morning, Rev. Giessler officiating, and interment following in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
