Relief from an illness of more than a year’s time and suffering, came to Mrs. Manuel Koski when she passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, Friday, May 2, 1947. It is hard to realize that death can be a blessing, but in passing away Hilma Koski’s suffering was eased from an illness that had necessitated her being hospitalized at Marshfield ever since later last December.

The possessor of a fine spirit and faith she had through her consideration of others, and work in the community where she resided with her husband on their farm in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), gained a reputation that will leave a memorable impression with her many friends.

She was born in Finland, on March 4, 1882, and was 65 years of age at the time of her death.

Services were conducted Monday afternoon at two o’clock from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), with Rev. Keljo of the Finnish Lutheran Church reading the last rites.
