Cramer, Arvid (23 AUG 1930 - 4 SEP 2013)

Arvid Cramer, 83, Spencer, passed away peacefully early on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. Rev. David DePaoli officiated.

Arvid was born on Aug. 23, 1930, in Marathon County, the son of Earl and Bertha (nee Neuman) Cramer. He attended a country school in the town of Brighton. On May 19, 1951, Arvid married his true love, Margaret Boehm, in Spencer. Margaret suddenly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 1995. Arvid loved and missed his dear “Margie” every day since. The couple were very successful dairy farmers. To support his young family Arvid also worked nights and weekends at Roddis and Dairy Belt. Arvid was a lifelong and active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and a good game of cards. He especially loved the outdoors. Those who knew him best will miss his warm spirit and his love of family and God.

Arvid is lovingly survived by his children, David (Sonja) Cramer, Beaver Dam, Michael Cramer, Spencer, Sharla (Edward) Dreikosen, Stratford, Susanne (Mark) Lucht, Spencer, and Sheri Cramer, Spencer; his grandchildren, Jodi (Brian) Baltus, Jesse Dreikosen, Courtney Cramer, Mathew Lucht and Jake Lucht; his great-grandchildren, Wilson, Carli, and Korbin Baltus; his siblings, Claire (Leonard) Herbert and Vernice Beyreis; as well as many extended relatives, in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends. Arvid was a wonderful Christian husband, father, and family man who will truly be missed.

Arvid was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bertha; his wife, Margaret; a granddaughter, Stacie Lucht; and a nephew, Keith Beyreis.
