Seelow, Cleone (Marriage - 15 April 1950)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church was the scene of the marriage Saturday, April 15, of Miss Cleone Seelow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow, to Lawrence Zink, son of Mr. and Mrs, Max Zink. Officiating at the double ring ceremony performed at 9:00 a.m. was Father John J. Pritzl.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her, was attired in a self-designed white satin and nylon net gown, trimmed with seed pearls. She wore a floor length veil and carried a bouquet of calla lilies. Her maid of honor was Gloria Zink, sister of the groom, who was dressed in pink taffeta. Janet Seelow, sister of the bride, who acted as bridesmaid, was dressed in blue satin. Josie Magadanze of Loyal acted as best man. Sharon Schnabel and Rita Spangler were flower girls.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the immediate relatives at the home of the groom’s parents. A six o’clock wedding supper was served to 250 persons at the Legion Memorial Hall. The place was tastefully decorated in white, orchid and blue streamers. A wedding dance was held at the Silver Dome. The young couple is on a honeymoon in southern Wisconsin.

Guests from out of town attending the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Markham, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kreiter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spangler and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Warner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Magadanze of Loyal, Romane Magadanze of Milwaukee, Mr. and mrs. Philip Spangler, Mr. an Mrs. Tony Spangler and family, and Bernard Spangler of Madison.
