Abbotsford, Wis. - May 30, 1957

W. O. Colby purchased the land of the former Joe Hoff place, about several acres, and plans to lay it out into building lots. Donald Gettlinger bought the house and will move it by Sept. 1.

Mrs. Anna Nikolay spent several days in Milwaukee with her two daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dietze of Oshkosh were recent guests at the Roland Roth home.

Mrs. Fred Woempner and John Habeck visited several days at Tomahawk and Spirit Falls with relatives and friends.

Ed Stock spent several days at Lake Delton where he attended an insurance meeting.

Miss Cecelia Chariton left for Marinette to spend some time with relatives and will attend the 25th anniversary mass of Rev. Edward D. Horyza.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brodhagen of Abbotsford have announced the engagement of their daughter, Beverly Ann, to Mr. James J. Dorst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dorst of Wausau. The bride-elect is employed as a beautician at Wausau. Mr. Dorst is a student at Central State College, Stevens Point.

Miss Elaine Mohan and Richard Allen Rolfs were united in marriage May 25 at St. Rose’s Catholic church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Miss Mohan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mohan of Spencer, is a graduate of Abbotsford High School, class of 1949.
