Jackson, Norman L. (9 MAR 1915 - 10 JUL 1954)

Norman Lloyd Jackson was born March 9, 1915 at Longwood (Clark Co.), Wis., the son of Cecelia and Louis Jackson, He was baptized and confirmed at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Longwood, and received his education in the Longwood and Owen schools.

On July 30, 1937 he was married to Miss Julia Paschke at the West Side Reformed parsonage by Rev. Franzmeier. To this union were born three children, Larry, Carol and Dale, all at home.

Norman has made Milwaukee his home since 1937, being employed by the Electric Company as a bus driver, until his sickness and death, which occurred Saturday night, July 10th, 1954 at 11:00 p.m. The funeral and burial was at Milwaukee on Wednesday, July 14th, 1954.

Norman is survived by hsi wife and children at home, his mother, Mrs. Celia Jackson of Greenwood, his sister, Mrs. Don Warner, Greenwood, six brothers, Elmer and Lawrence of Greenwood, Arnold, Milwaukee, Gordon, West Point, N.Y., Lee of Spencer, and Harold of Lewiston, Minn., besides a host of relatives and friends.

Those from here who attended the funeral were Mrs. Celia Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner, Lawrence Jackson, Greenwood. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jackson, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson, Lewiston, Minn.; and Capt. And Mrs. Jackson, West Point, N.Y.; Dick Warner, Chetek and John Paschke, Greenwood.
