Guptill, Freeman E. (1868? - MAR 1929)

Freeman E. Guptil, better known here (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.) as Grandpa Guptill, who for some time has made his home in Northwood, Iowa, with his son Charles Guptill, proprietor of a filling station there, passed away last week. He had been sick but a week. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Waucoma, Iowa, and had belonged to the Masonic Lodge for more than fifty years.

Funeral services were held at the Guptill home at Northwood, and the body was taken to Waucoma, Iowa for burial.

Deceased was well-known in Greenwood, where he resided with his son and family for many years, moving to Northwood last fall. He was 85 years old.
