Pudlas, Dorothy (Marriage - 9 June 1934)

Miss Dorothy Pudlas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pudlas, Curtiss, became the bride of Wilfred Marcott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marcott also of Curtiss, at a ceremony performed Saturday afternoon at three o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents. The Rev. W. P. Powell read the service.

Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Powell sang "I Love You Truly."

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, came down a winding stairs, and entered the living room as Miss Eleanor Green played the wedding march from Lohengrin. Her gown was of white satin. She wore a long veil held in place by a cap arrangement which fell entrain. Her arm bouquet was of rose and snapdragons.

Miss Esther Pudlas, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, was attired in an ankle length gown of yellow taffeta and carried a bouquet of roses and snapdragons. Lester Marcott served his brother as best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held and supper was served at seven o’clock, covers being laid for 65. The house was decorated in yellow, pink, green and white streamers, and cut flowers. The guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marcott and family, Mrs. Allie Davis and daughter Jeanette, Miss Marion Gwin, Mrs. Amelia Neitsch, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hawks, Miss Mary Smiley, Miss Minnie Fahrenbach, Mrs. Amy Teach, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rieckman and Mr. Alfred Thompson. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Julius Siefert, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Culbertson, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. X. Archambo and family, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Patitz, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Laack of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Martens, Colby; Oscar Kolb, Cleveland; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marcott and family, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Springer and daughter, June of Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marcott and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Baske, Phillips; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and family; and Mr. and Mrs. John Patitz, Dorchester; and Rev. and Mrs. W.
