Joanne K. Bramble, 67, of Alexandria, VA, died Nov. 8, 2008, at her home. She is the daughter of George and Virginia (Gallagher) Bramble. Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at the Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville.

Joanne K. Bramble, 67, of Alexandria, VA, died Nov. 8, 2008, at her home.

She was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Janesville, the daughter of George and Virginia (Gallagher) Bramble. She was educated in Janesville and Madison. Joanne was employed as a secretary to the U. S. Ambassadors to Ireland and Great Britain. She returned to the United States and was an office manager in the federal government.

She is survived by Bramble and Gallagher cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia Bramble.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Neillsville, with Rev. James Mohr officiating. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Buchanan Funeral Home of Neillsville assisted the family with arrangements.
