Romanowicz, Mary (10 FEB 1891 - 23 DEC 1965)

Mary Romanowicz, 74, passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, on Thursday, Dec. 23rd, 1965.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp, on Monday, Dec. 27th. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service and burial was made in St. Hedwig's Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Tom Grajkowski, Robert Szramek, Joe Roman, Ed Grajkowski, George Grajkowski and Matthew Grajkowski.

Mrs. Romanowicz was born Feb. 10, 1891 in Poland. On Sept. 22, 1891 she was united in marriage to John Romanowicz at St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp. Mr. Romanowicz passed away in Nov. 1940.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph of Chicago, Ed of Arlington, Wash., Victory of St. Maries, Idaho; eight daughters, Mrs. Stella Nejman, (Alyce) Mrs. Joseph Szramek of Chicago; (Bernice) Mrs. Ray Grajkowski, (Jean) Mrs. Joe Grajkowski, (Lucille) Mrs. Jake Niedzwiecki, (Marian) Mrs. Bernard Klewicki, all of Thorp; (Joan) Mrs. John Schneider of Butler, Wis., and Lillian at home; two sisters, (Helen) Mrs. Fred Hedler, Thorp, (Bertha) Mrs. Tony Antonowicz of Minneapolis; two brothers, Alex Jarocki of Anahusac, Texas, and Albert Jarocki of Chicago.
