A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Will at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital January 15.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Witt, Mrs. Ed Meyer and Mrs. Nick Gierl left on a trip to California to visit relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Nelsen returned from the trip to the west coast where they visited their sons and families.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Schkoneman and family spent the week-end in Milwaukee with Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Schade and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Partridge, new residents of Colby, spent the week-end at the Sixth National Association Variety Store Merchandise Show held at the Leamington Hotel, Minneapolis, Minn. There were 66 booths of exhibits showing new types and lines of merchandise, some of which will soon be seen in the Heimerl’s Variety Store, operated by Mr. Partridge.
