Telford, Thomas (1867 - 14 JAN 1947)

Thomas G. Telford, 80, died at his home at Gillett, Wis., on Tuesday morning, after a lingering illness. He was born in Canada in 1867 and came to Wisconsin when a small boy, settling in Clark County until 1889, when he went to Oconto County where he worked in the woods and was a carpenter by trade. He was never married.

Survivors are two brothers, Robert, Thorp, Wis., and Alfred, Superior, and one sister, Mrs. Mary O’Neill, Everett, Wash.

Funeral services were held at 9 o’clock Thursday morning at St. John’s Catholic Church at Gillett, with the Rev. Richard Keller officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Telford of Thorp attended the funeral.
