Goldamer, Ardyce (Marriage - 22 June 1935)

A two o’clock ceremony Saturday afternoon at the Green Grove Lutheran church united in marriage Miss Ardyce Goldamer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Goldamer, Abbotsford, and Mr. Elmer Cornelius, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cornelius, Abbotsford, Wis. The service was read by the Rev. M. C. Goetsch.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cornelius of Milwaukee, were the couple’s only attendants.

Miss Goldamer wore a floor length gown of white embroidered net with a ruffled cape, white accessories, and a tiara for her head. She carried a shower bouquet of talisman roses and snapdragons.

The matron of honor wore a white floor length gown of tunic style, completed with a beaded bodice. Her flowers consisted of roses, sweet peas and snapdragons.

Cut flowers and tapers decorated the tables at which 125 guests were served at a dinner at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride and groom are making their home at Abbotsford, Wis.

Out of town guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cornelius and children, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cornelius, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. August Skibbe, Medford; Mrs. John Hasse and daughter, Margaret, Beaver Dam; and Adolph Mundt, Chippewa Falls.
