Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Reese were Loyal visitors Tuesday.

Miss Andrews of Chicago spent Saturday here at the home of her brother, J.S. Andrews. She returned to Chicago on Sunday.

A ticket free with every purchase. The ticket is good on the $300 radio set to be given away at the L.C. Clute garage.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Noetzel and daughters autoed to Hatfield Sunday where they spent the day.

Word received here again this week was that Elmer Rossman, who has been seriously ill at his home out west, is getting along nicely and improving rapidly.

Miss Theodosia Hemp of Neillsville will demonstrate the method of Miessner teaching music in the city hall, Saturday afternoon, Aug. 1st from three to four o'clock. All are cordially invited. Bring the children.

Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Ketchpaw and Mrs. Melvin Erickson and daughter Elizabeth went to Marshfield yesterday where Elizabeth underwent an operation for the removal of her tonsils.

Quite a number from here attended the dance at Neillsville Tuesday evening. Music was furnished by Eli Rice and his Dixie Cotton Pickers.

Geo. Haeuser and family autoed to Dorchester Saturday where on Sunday they attended a family reunion of the Haeuser families.

Otto Creg and Durward Schwarze returned from Milwaukee last Thursday with a new Essex sedan.

Gale Hiles and Carl Keiner were Wausau visitor Tuesday.

Miss Adine Hogue of Marshfield spent Saturday and Sunday here with home folks.

Albin and Leonard Arends of Colby spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Arends.

Miss Myrtle Aaberg arrived home last Monday from a four week visit at Glenwood City and Ellsworth.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weidman and two daughters of Prairie du Sac spent from Saturday until Tuesday here at the Harry Hogue home.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Freiman and son of Thorp spent Tuesday at the Jos. Merkel home.

Miss Anita LaMarche of New London arrived here Monday for an extended visit at the A.C. Buker home.

Walter Needham and Orlando Buker autoed to Fennimore Saturday, returning on Sunday. Miss Katherine Borham, who has been visiting at Fennimore, returned to Greenwood with them.

Martin Afkend spent the latter part of last week with relatives and friends in the southern part of the state.

Mr. and Mrs. Kin Andrews and two daughters of Colby visited at the J.S. Andrews home Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Art Johnson, who conduct the Hotel Greenwood, have had a large sign strung across Central Avenue drawing attention to the hotel. The sign was made by C.C. Cleveland and is a very attractive piece of work.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hart and children of Halliday, N.D. spent a few days last week at the Fred Gorman home.

A number of friends had a surprise on Mrs. Paul Borham last night, the occasion being her birthday. Cards were played and at a late hour refreshments were served. All present had a most enjoyable time.

Miss Gertrude Schauss of Wausau, Ernest haeuser of Duluth, Minn., Mrs. Frank Knopp of Hibbing, Minn., Miss Harriet Haeuser of Chicago and Ed Sorenson of Abbotsford spent Wednesday here at the Geo. Haeuser home.
