Sedlack, Minnie (19 Aug. 1869 - 12 May 1937)

Mrs. Minnie Kalepp Sedlack, 68, a resident of Spencer for 23 years, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, at 5 a.m. Wednesday. She had been ill since January as the result of a stroke, and had been a patient at the hospital for three weeks.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. C. Swarthout, and at Trinity Lutheran church, Spencer, at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Dorchester, the Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating.

Mrs. Sedlack was born in Saxony, Germany, on Aug. 19, 1869, and came to the United States with her parents when but a year old. They settled in Dorchester where she was married on Oct. 6, 1889, to James Sedlack. Mr. Sedlack died on Jan. 26, 1937.

Surviving are three daughters and three sons, Mrs. B. C. (Tillie) Swarthout, Spencer; Mrs. Jerry (Annie) Lafreniere and Mrs. Wm. (Bertha) Mannas, Hibbing, Minn.; John, Ironwood, Mich.; William, Dorchester and Frank, Ironwood, Mich.

Mrs. Sedlack was a sister to Adolph Kalepp of Abbotsford, Wis.
