Miss Elpha Schuette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schuette of Unity, became the bride of T/Cpl. Carl Zarnstorff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zarnstorff Sr. of Lake Geneva, in a double ring ceremony performed in St. Luke’s Lutheran church in South Green Grove on Jan. 30. The candlelight service was held at 2 p.m., with the Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating. Mrs. Goetsch played the wedding marches, with Mrs. Henry Hardrath and Miss Bertha Hardrath singing.

The bride was attired in white satin, having a sweetheart neckline and a long train. Her long veil was gathered in a crown of seed pearls. Her jewelry was a gold locket, a gift from the groom. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.

Miss Blanche Schuette, attired in a blue brocade taffeta with blusher veil and headdress, was maid of honor. Miss Irene Schuette, dressed in pink brocade taffeta with blusher veil and headdress to match, was the bride’s second attendant. Both carried wrist corsages of mixed flowers.

Robert Zarnstorff, brother of the groom and Rueben Schuette, cousin of the bride, both of Genoa City, were the groom’s attendants.

The bride’s mother chose a lavender dress and wore a shoulder corsage of mixed flowers. The groom’s mother wore a soldier blue, two piece dress and wore a corsage similar to the bride’s mother.

A 6 o’clock supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to 50 immediate friends and relatives. Both church and house were decorated with white, blue and pink streamers. The wedding cake served as the center-piece for the table.

The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zarnstorff Sr. of Lake Geneva; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zarnstorff, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Zarnstorff, Mrs. Arthur Behrens, Mrs., Harry Vorpagel, Robert Zarnstorff, Rueben Schuette and Ellen Schuette, all of Genoa City; Mr. and Mrs.. Matrin Zarnstorff of Milwaukee, Mrs. Margaret Schuette Mrs. Frank Reack Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schuette and daughter, Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schuette and family am\nd Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lang and family, all of Unity; Miss Irene Molle of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schuette and Mrs. Wesley Schwartz of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. William Kloszinski of Loyal; the Rev. and Mrs. M. C. Goetsch of Colby, and Mrs. Henry Hardrath and Miss Bertha Hardrath of Riplinger.

Mrs. Zarnstorff will accompany her husband to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Kans., where he is now stationed.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the newlyweds its wishes for a happy wedded life.
