Scheeler, Mary (6 Mar. 1885 - 11 Mar. 1959)
Funeral services were conducted in Christ Evangelical Lutheran church in Abbotsford Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Scheeler of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who died of a coronary thrombosis Wednesday afternoon, March 11, at Prairie du Sac at the age of 74 years. Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated and burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
The former Mary Kelpin was born March 6, 1885, in the town of Grant and received her education there. In 1904 she married Herman G. Scheeler at the Mapleworks Lutheran church at Granton. They lived at Abbotsford for several years, then moved to Granton. Nineteen years ago they returned to Abbotsford, where she had lived since. For the past several weeks she had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. William Grottke, at Sauk City.
Survivors are one son, Carl Scheeler of Cazenovia; three daughters, Mrs. H. J. (Gertrude) Amacher of Abbotsford, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Grottke of Sauk City, Mrs. William (Edna) Marg of Schofield; 10 grand children; 15 great grand children; one sister, Emma Warleden of Fond du Lac; four brothers, Paul Kelpin of Poyette, Idaho, Charles Kelpin of Grass Valley, Calif., Herman Kelpin of Elk Grove, Calif., and Arnold Kelpin of Rochester, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband September 19, 1950, and by two brothers, two sisters and one grand son.
