Domianus, Eloraine N. (12 FEB 1949)

On Saturday afternoon, Feb. 12, 1949, Eloraine Nerdrum Domianus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Nerdrum of Stanley, and Arnold Beckman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beckman of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Parsonage at Withee, by Rev. Walter Schedler.

The bride wore a grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of white carnations and snapdragons. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Thompson, who wore a black dress and a corsage of pink carnations and snapdragons.

The groom wore a grey suit. He was attended by Lawrence Thompson, brother-in-law of the bride, who wore a brown suit. Both wore white carnations.

The groom is a World War II veteran, having served three and one-half years in the army.

The couple left after the ceremony to spend several days in northern Wisconsin, after which they will be at home on the Beckman farm in the Town of Worden.
