Miss Darlene M. Kilty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kilty of Unity, and James O. Andre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Werner G. The bride wore a white lace waltz-length gown with ruffles of net and lace forming her bouffant skirt. The lace bodice topped by a lace jacket, featured a curving neckline and the whole gown was under-scored with acetate taffeta. Her veil fell from a coronet of lace embroidered with pearls and sequins, and she carried a colonial bouquet of tinted blue carnations and white pompons.
The bridal attendants were Mrs. Claire Obenhofer of Rib Lake, as matron of honor and Miss Sharon Kilty of Unity as bridesmaid. Claire Obenhofer of Rib Lake, was best man, with Werner A. Andre Jr. of Muskegon Heights, Mich. as groomsmen.
The bridal aides wore empire styled white gowns accented with wide blue cummerbunds. The dress of the bridesmaid was of nylon sheer over taffeta with the scoop neckline and V back. The matron of honor’s dress was similarly styled of white lace over taffeta. They wore corsages of tinted blue carnations and white hats.
Following the reception a wedding and shower dance was held at the Unity Memorial Hall. The couple will make their home in Marshfield, following a wedding trip to Milwaukee and Michigan. The groom will be employed at Berg’s Equipment Co. The bride is a graduate of the Colby High School.
