Fults, Edwin Roy (18 Sept. 1909 - 30 July 1959)

Edwin Roy Fults of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, age 49, died of cerebral hemorrhage last week Thursday afternoon while at work at the Skelly service station in Abbotsford, Wis. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the First Presbyterian church in Abbotsford, Rev. Wallace Smith of Edgar officiating, and burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Mr. Fults was born in Thorp on September 18, 1909. He received his grade school and two years of high school education in Thorp. In 1927, the family moved to Abbotsford where he completed his high school education. He married the former Ruby Pacholke in St. John’s church in Colby in September, 1933. He operated a bulk oil station in Stetsonville for eight years and had been manager of the Abbotsford Oil Company.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church, a former officer of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and active in sports and athletic events. He managed a semi-pro baseball team in Abbotsford, Wis.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Sandra) Knight of Marshfield; one son, Gerald, at home; one grand daughter, Cindy Knight of Marshfield; two brothers, James of Stanley and Arthur H. Fults, O.D., of Colby; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fults of Abbotsford, Wis.

One sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Mildred) Anderson, preceded him in death.
