Stochek, Joseph S. (1882 - 1954)

Joseph S. Stochek, 71, a retired farmer who formerly lived in the Town of Sherman passed away at the Neillsville Hospital, Neillsville Friday afternoon. He had been a patient there since Wednesday.

Mr. Stochek was a brother of Mrs. Albert Chamberland, route 2, Spencer and was well known in this area.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, three sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 8:45 at the Georgas Funeral Home, Neillsville and at 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Neillsville.

Attending from Spencer were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Chamberland, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vanderhoof, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bymers, Mrs. Ed. Voelker, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hull, Miss Ione Pickett, Mrs. Albert Tews, Mrs. Wm. Reinheimer, Mr. Joe Hlavac, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Reinheimer, Miss Catherine Hlavac, and Mrs. Irene Kuszynski.
