The bride was attired in a mint green dress of Chantilly lace over taffeta with short jacket and matching accessories. Her corsage was white and pink cymbidium orchids and white stephanotis.

Mrs. Walter Zuber of Abbotsford was matron of honor and Miss Shirley Lang of Dorchester the bridesmaid. The former wore a tan lace dress with brown accessories and the bridesmaid’s dress was brown lace with tan accessories. Pink roses and white carnations fashioned their corsages.

Best man at the nuptials was Walter Zuber of Abbotsford and Gerald Younker of Dorchester was the groomsman. Ushering duties were performed by Ray Gebert and Louis Boxrucker.

The wedding breakfast and dinner were served at the Block Hotel at Dorchester and that evening a reception was held from 7 to 11 o’clock at the Abbotsford Village Hall.

The groom, who was graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1934, served in the armed forces from 1941 to 1945, and at present is employed as a supervisor for the Packaging Corporation of America.
