Thompson, Victoria (4 Mar. 1885 - 10 Feb. 1961)

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Curtiss Evangelical Lutheran church in Curtiss for Mrs. Victoria Thompson who died Saturday at 4:30 P.M. at her home in Curtiss at the age of 75 years. Rev. Donald Olson officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Victoria Sampson was born on March 4, 1885, in Menomonie where she received her education. She was married there to Theodore Thompson on June 12, 1917. After their marriage, the couple lived in the town of Hoard, moving to Curtiss in 1949. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of the W.M.F. of Curtiss.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Frank of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Nelson of Abbotsford; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Ove and Mrs. Mattie Sampson of Curtiss and Mrs. Minnie Poetow of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, August Sampson of Winchester, 10 grand children. Four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
