Amacher, Ronald Wayne (1937? - 15 Feb. 2009)

WITHEE -- Ronald "Mick" Wayne Amacher, 71, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Visitation will take place at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Following the service, burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mick was the first born son of Fred and Grace (Bockin) in Medford. He was married Oct. 7, 1961, in Abbotsford to Joan Catherine Weller. Together, they operated Amacher Milk Hauling until 1984. In 1985, Mick was employed by Northland foods in Owen, retiring from Kerry Ingredients in 1999.

Mick is survived by his wife, Joan Amacher of Withee; three children, Holly (Arlyn) Thorne of Owen, Dawn (Melvin) Mueller of Owen, and Mark (Kim) Amacher of Glendale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Bruce (Betty) and Dale (Nancy) Amacher; and four sisters, Sherrie (David) Seidel, Starla Amacher, Shelbie (Bob) Tarlowski, and Sheila (Dale) Haugle.
