A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Ives at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 12.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kelly at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 17.

Mrs. Otto Heintz visited with Mrs. William McNeight in Wausau Friday and Saturday.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barr at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 12.

Howard Kumbier of West Allis spent several days with his father, Arthur Kumbier, and his mother at the Memorial Hospital at Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Weix and Bernard attended the funeral of her father, Michael Martin, of Winona, Minn., Friday.

Mrs. Elsie Hauser and Mr. and Mrs. James Hauser of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. John Dittner of Spencer attended the funeral of Mrs. John Hauser of South Wayne Saturday.

Mrs. John Coates, home service consultant for the Clark Electric Cooperative, attended a two-day work-shop at Wausau sponsored by the American Women in Radio and Television.

Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Martens had as their Sunday dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Neuman of Riplinger and Mrs. Pauline Justman.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Decker and Larry spent the week-end at Milwaukee with relatives. Mrs. Jim Foster and Sharon spent Thursday afternoon and evening at the Decker home.

Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Hansen and children are spending this week in Florida where the doctor is attending national general practice meeting. They expect to be back in Colby Sunday.

A daughter, Brenda Jean, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Waldinger of Akron, Ohio, April 6. Mrs. Waldinger will be remembered as the former Evelyn Mielke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mielke.

Paul Draeger returned to his home in Colby after spending the winter months in Campbellsport with his son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Becker *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
