Friends honored Mr. and Mrs. Nickolas Schommer at a wedding dance and shower at Fountain hall, Medford, Saturday evening. Their marriage occurred Oct. 2, at St. Joseph’s Catholic church, Winona, Minn.

For the wedding dance, Mrs. Schommer, the former Ethel Wiese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese, wore her wedding gown of white net, lace trimmed, with a train and a long veil. She carried a mixed bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums and ferns, tied with a large tulle bow.

She was attended by her twin sister, Mrs. Erwin Wunch, as matron of honor, Mrs. Francis Wiese and Miss Margaret Wiese. The attendants wore floor length gowns in aqua, coral and blue, respectively, with carnations in their hair and wrist corsages.

Nickolas Schommer, who is the son of Mrs. John Schommer, Colby, was attended by Erwin Wunch, Francis Wiese and Alvin Schrauth, Medford.

For the occasion, the hall was decorated in streamers of aqua, coral and blue.

Mr. and Mrs. Schommer are making their home, for the present, in Abbotsford with the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese.
