Friemund, Otto (8 June 1887 - 3 Nov. 1940)

Funeral services for Otto Friemund, who died Sunday evening, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock at the home of Mrs. Amanda Bruesewitz, Town of Brighton and at two o’clock at Christ Evangelical Lutheran church, Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. H. C. Hintz, Town of Brighton, officiated at the rites. Internment was made in the Town of Holton cemetery.

The pallbearers were eight nephews of the deceased: Darrel and Rolan Friemund, Stratford; Vernon and Melvin Friemund, Brantwood; Elroy and Delmar Bruesewitz, Spencer; Arthur and Arnold Parge, Town of Johnson.

The floral offerings were carried by five nieces: Mrs. Eleanore Konkel, Milan; Mrs. Artemus Weis and Mrs. Laverna Urtel, Spencer; the Misses Elvira Bruesewtiz and Frances Allar, Marshfield.

Otto Friemund was born June 8, 1887, in the Town of Holton, son of the late Charles and Caroline Friemund. He was unmarried and for the past 18 years he has made his home with his two sisters, Mrs. Henry Parge, Town of Holton and Mrs. Amanda Bruesewitz, Town of Brighton. It was with the latter sister he was living at the time of his death, which was caused by complications.

He is survived by two brothers, Herman, March Rapids and Charles, Brantwood; five sisters, Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Allar, Marshfield; Mrs. Henry (Ida) Parge, Town of Holton; Mrs. Emma Schaus and Mrs. Emil (Alvina) Taxis, Chicago; and Mrs. Amanda Bruesewitz, Town of Brighton.
