Furlong, Minnie M. (30 March 1893 - 16 January 1951)

DEATH IN FLORIDA OF MR. AND MRS. J. C. FURLONG:

Mrs. Hilda Campbell of Sullivan, Wis. writes The Press of the death of Mr. and Mrs. J. C., Furlong of Schofield. Mrs. Furlong was brought up in the town of Lynn, having been Minnie M. Teatz. The Furlongs were a well known family, with their connections in earlier years. J. C. Furlong was born in Marion, Ill, May 9, 1889, while Mrs. Furlong, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Teatz, was born near Granton, March 30, 1893.

The Furlongs had gone to Florida for a winter vacation, and were both killed in an auto accident January 16. The funeral services were held in Oconomowoc and interment took place in La Belle Cemetery there.

Mrs. Furlong left an uncle, Robert Teatz, Town of York. The couple is survived also, by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Fussell of Gary, Ind., a son Stanley of North Hollywood, Cal. Also surviving Mrs. Furlong are her mother, Mrs. August Teatz, and the sister, Mrs. Hilda Campbell of Sullivan, Wis. Surviving Mr. Furlong are his mother and five sisters of Chicago and a brother Frank Furlong of Lindsey, and three grandchildren.
