Our granddaughter, Lori Christie, a student at the University - Glasgow, Scotland, will have a fascinating story to remember about her first days of classes. A classmate asked Lori where she was from because of her accent. Lori told her she was from the United States. Her classmate told Lori she had lived in the United States before moving to Europe. Lori asked her where she had lived in the States and was told “Wisconsin.” Lori told her she was from Wisconsin. When Lori asked her where she had lived in Wisconsin, she told Lori that she wouldn’t know; it was a little town near Madison called Sun Prairie. A surprised Lori told her classmate that she was born in Sun Prairie and had lived there until her parents moved to Black River Falls. Talk about a unique experience! It is a small world!
