Phillip (2 May 1916 - 31 March 1971)
Stanley Phillip Djubenski, 54, of 
Thorp died March 31, at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, where he was 
admitted three days before.
Mr. Djubenski, son of Michael and Katherine 
Jaranski, was born May 2, 1916, in Willard. He was never married. He served in 
World War II from 1943 to 1946 in England. He was employed in construction work 
in Minnesota and Wisconsin and spent most of his life in Willard.
Funeral 
services were held April 3, from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The 
Rev. Michael Mertens officiated. Burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery. 
Graveside military rites were conducted by the Wallis-Hinker American Legion 
Post of Greenwood.
Pallbearers were: John, Roger, Andrew, Michael 
Djubenski, David Maslanka and Mark Djubenski.
He is survived by four 
brothers: Michael of McHenry, Ill., John and Roger of Willard and Andrew 
Djubenski of Greenwood; and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Zalewski of 
Elmhurst, Ill., Mrs. Richard (Mary) Maslanka of Abbotsford, Mrs. Elmer (Antonia) 
Orth of Greenwood, and Mrs. Oliver (Felicia) La Flex of Thorp.
