Conley, Pasty Rose (Marriage - 3 April 1971)

Miss Patsy Rose Conley and Michael Dale Kurth were married Saturday, April 3, at 2 p.m. in Zion American Lutheran Church near Granton. The Rev. Evan Dieck of Zion Lutheran Church, Manawa, performed the double ring ceremony before 200 guests.

Mr. and Mr. Harold Conley of Rt. 1 Summerfield, Fl., are the parents of the bride. She is a graduate of Wabeno High School and has been employed recently in Lakewood. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kurth of Rt. 1 Granton. He is employed in road construction as a heavy equipment operator.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white Chantilly lace floor-length gown accented with a satin bow at the waist and a chapel train. Her tiered veil of silk illusion was held in place by a tiara headpiece. She carried a Victorian cascade arrangement of pink roses, callas, hyacinths and baby’s breath.

Mrs. Russ Jacobus, Wauwatosa, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sharon Sarow of West Allis, Miss Cheri Keesler of Oshkosh, and Mrs. Sandra Newman of Eau Claire. The bridal attendants wore A-line dresses of bonded blue lace styled with lace sleeves and bow-trimmed empire waistlines. Their cascade arrangements of blue carnations matched the color of their dresses.

Wayne Kurth, Neillsville, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Glen Kurth, of Marshfield, Darwin Schlinsog of Granton and Ray Mullins of Riplinger. Ronald Newman of Eau Claire and Neal Sarow of West Allis acted as ushers. Dennis Kurth was the ringbearer and Ronna Kurth the flowergirl.

A reception was held at the Bali Hai Supper club east of Neillsville. Music was provided by Bill Chambers Orchestra. The newlyweds are on a wedding trip to the Southwestern states.
