Klieforth, Irve (30 Mar. 1930 - 2009)

Irve Klieforth, the longtime owner of Cliff’s Service station in Abbotsford, died Wednesday morning at his home in Abbotsford, Wis. He was 78.

Irve is survived by his wife Doris, sons Bruce, Randy and Scott, a daughter, Patty, and several grandchildren.

He purchased Cliff’s Service from his father, Clarence, in 1963 and ran it as a Conoco dealer for 30 years before selling the business in 1993 to Bruce, who still owns and operates the station. The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce named it the 2008 Business of the Year.
