Miss Linda Lou Glende, daughter of Mrs. Minnie Glende of Medford became the bride of Romaine William Seidelmann, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Seidelmann of Greenwood, route one, at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 27.

The double ring ceremony was performed in the Trinity Lutheran church by its pastor, the Rev. J. C. Langholz, before an altar decorated with autumn flowers.

The bride wore a floor-length dress of white brocaded taffeta, made with a sweetheart neckline, close fitting bodice and full skirt. Her fingertip length lace veil was arranged in crown effect and decorated with orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of mixed flowers, carnations, asters and gladioli. For "something old’ she wore a gold locket which had belonged to the groom’s mother for 29 years. For "something blue she carried a sheer blue handkerchief.

Miss Verna Glende, sister of the bride, served as her maid of honor. Her dress was of deep rose, the bodice of velveteen and the full skirt of taffeta. She carried a bouquet of dahlias in deep rose and yellow. She also wore a gold locket, which had belonged to the groom’s mother for many years.

The groom’s cousin, Viola Anderegg was bridesmaid and wore a gown of aqua brocaded silk. Her bouquet was similar to that of the maid of honor. Both of the bride’s attendants wore flowers in their hair.

The groom’s attendants were two of his cousins, LaVern Kronberger and Donald Wieting.

A dinner was served at the home of the groom’s parents to over 60 guests. The house was decorated with streamers and baskets of autumn flowers. The wedding table was centered with a three-tier wedding cake, iced with white and decorated with pink and green. It was made by Mrs. John Knoll of Marshfield, a close friend of the bride. Mrs. Frank Morse, Mrs. George Kronberger, Mrs. Albert Schecklman, Mrs. Joe Hoeser and Mrs. Romie Goetz assisted with the serving.

A reception and dance were given at the Silver Dome near Neillsville, and was attended by a large crowd.

Those from away who attended the wedding were: Mike Seidelmann of New Lisbon, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Seidelmann of Merrimac, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Seidelmann, Mr. and Mrs. John Knoll and Son, Robert, and Mrs. Tony Wieting and son Donald, of Neillsville, Mrs. Minnie Glende and sons, James and Donald and Joe Wold of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Seif and Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Levandusky of Greenwood, and Mr. and. Mrs. John Kronberger of Spencer.

The bride is a graduate of the LaCrosse high school and has been employed at the Wood county hospital in Marshfield. The groom is a graduate of the Loyal high school of 1930 and is engaged in farming.

Following a wedding trip to St. Paul and Pine River, Minn., they now at home to their friends on the farm of the groom’s parents.
