Guy
Crandall, 80, a former Humbird resident died April 19 in Buffalo Memorial
Hospital, Mondovi. He was a home town boy, received his education in the Humbird
School and grew to manhood here. He was a barber here for many years and in
Black River Falls before moving to Mondovi.
He was a member of Our
Savior’s Church in Mondovi and of the Humbird Masonic Lodge and had served on
the Humbird School Board and as a Mondovi City councilman for several years.
He was married to Lula Mae Chambers. Immediate survivors are his wife; a
daughter, Mrs. Earl Langworthy of Mondovi; three grandchildren; and a half
brother, Harvey Ringrose of Portland, Ore.
Funeral services were
conducted April 22 from Our Savior’s Church in Mondovi, the Rev. R. Freese
officiating. Burial was made in Oak Park Cemetery.
Wednesday evening
several members of the Humbird Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star drove
to Mondovi to call at the funeral home. Masonic services were conducted there at
8 p.m. by the Mondovi and Humbird Masons.
