Immanuel United Church of Christ (Mother-Daughter Banquet - 1971)

Approximately 170 mothers and daughters attended the banquet Saturday evening at Immanuel United Church of Christ. The meal was served by the men and boys of the church.

Mrs. Henry Vollrath, president of the Immanuel Guild, welcomed the guests. Mrs. Elvera Fravert was the toastmistress. The program began with prayer led by Mrs. Pacifico Camarin, who also gave a talk on the customs in the Philippines. LeAnn Rohde and Berdelle Nielsen presented a clarinet duet; Margaret Fravert and Betty Fravert gave readings; Mrs. Louis Lesar and daughter, Laura, rendered an accordion number and song; Brenda Lust and Mrs. Elvera Fravert read poems.

Awards were presented to several mothers and to eighth grade and high school graduates.
