Reigel, James (1878? - 15 FEB 1949)

Funeral services were conducted from the Alliance Missionary Church at two o’clock, Friday afternoon, Feb. 18, for James W. Reigel, 70, who died a week ago Tuesday. The Rev. James Franklin, assisted by the Rev. Henry Reigel, Owen, officiated at the services and burial was made in Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Sternweis, Anton Schmidt, Peter Heckel, Frank Eckes, Ray Gessert and Lyman Tremelling.

Mrs. Alice Hafeman, Mrs. Magnus Moen, Mrs. Phillip Goddard and Miss Carol Davis had charge of the flowers.

Mrs. Reuben Mantik and Mrs. Elmer Jensen sang "Saved by Grace," "Home Sweet Home," and "The Lights of Home." Mds. Harold Nordmoe accompanied them at the organ.

Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reigel and sons, Donald, Wilbur, and James, Windsor; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reigel and son Charles and Richard, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Harland Reigel and daughters, Sally and Nancy, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Schultz, Beaver Dam; Mr. and Mrs. John Reeson, Ridgeway; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Held and Mrs. Pauline Held, Athens; Mrs. Rueben Mantik, Milan; Mrs. Elmer Johnson, Abbotsford; the Rev. and Mrs. Henry Reigel, Fred Reigel and Mrs. Grace George, Owen; Mrs. Phillip Goddard and Mrs. Dwight Balow, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Clouse, Loyal; and Mrs. Arthur Rupp, Askov, Minn.
