Miss Pearl Poirier, who attends high school in Greenwood, spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B.N. Poirier.

Mrs. Fred Kocher was a caller at Jim Syth's Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ampe and children visited at the Hafenbradl home Sunday.

Shendel had the misfortune to lose two valuable colts Saturday.

Little Margaret Wolfe, who has been quite sick with diphtheria, is much better.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scherer and family spent Sunday at the John Demuth home.

A large crowd attended the party at Ampe's Friday night. All report a good time.

Raymond Scherer, after spending the past three weeks at Hugh Christie's, came home Saturday. He got his hand from quite bad while sawing wood at Lindeman's and will be laid up for some time.

Iola Farning spent the weekend at the Arthur Syth home.

Miss Gibbs spent Saturday and Sunday at her home in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hinker from east of Greenwood spent Friday evening in our vicinity.

Mrs. Kline visited at Jim Syth's Monday.

Miss Gladys Parmeter visited a few days the past week at the Free Christie home.
