Funeral services for John Gustav Anderson, 77, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), Owen. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. C. S. Matthews of the Christian Alliance Church officiated. Two hymns were sung by Mrs. Henry Peterson and Mrs. Charles Jakel.

Pallbearers were Frank Bloom, Kopp, Albert Bakke, John Johnson, Marcus Hermanson and Henry Peterson. Mrs. Frank Bloom, Mrs. Marcus Hermanson and Mrs. Albert Bakke had charge of the flowers.

Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden Jan. 4, 1872. At the age of 22 years he came to America and lived for two years in Chicago. He then moved to a farm in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), where he resided up to about six years ago. Since then he had lived in the village of Curtiss. Mr. Anderson was unmarried and had no relatives in America.
