Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Turner have moved onto a farm near Owen.

Mrs. Hermina Herrmann is a patient at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Clement Apfelbeck of Colby, Route 1, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital February 26.

Miss Ella Patterson of Abbotsford spent several days at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Angus Lamont, Sr.

Mrs. Edna Dins and Miss Martha Buss left Wednesday for Sheboygan where they are visiting several days with relatives.

Dennis Foster of Colby recently made the camera tour deep in the heart of Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico to take home photographic trophies of the spectacular formations in the world’s largest cave.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Neuhaus, Mrs. Alvina Miller and Mrs. Edwin Strade of Abbotsford and Mrs. Walter Baumgartner of Colby attended funeral services for their brother, Edward Neuhaus, at Melrose Park, Ill., last Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Block, formerly of Colby and recently of West Allis, Wis., moved to Sarasota, Florida, where Jerry is employed at the Electro-Mechanical Research, Inc. He works on the research and development of the celescope Satellite project which is part of the Smithsonian Institute’s program in exploring outer space. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Block of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lamb of Chicago, Ill.
