Kopp, Marie #2 (26 JUL 1866 - 20 AUG 1949)

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Evangelical and Reformed Church, Curtiss, for Mrs. Marie Kopp, 83, Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday at 1:50 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Neuman, Curtiss, where she had been staying since becoming ill three weeks ago.

The Rev. Franz H. Puhlmann, Colby, conducted the services after which interment took place in the Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Curtiss.

Mrs. Marie, nee Boehm, was born in Austria, July 26, 1866, and was married in 1894 to Wolfgang Kopp, who died about eight years ago. Since her marriage she had resided on a farm in the Town of Hoard, which is being operated by her son, Harry since retiring from farming some time ago.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Walter (Irma) Neuman, Curtiss, three sons, Rudolph and Harry, both of Curtiss, and Franklin, State of Washington; and five grandchildren. Another daughter, Elsie, is death.

Pallbearers were Albert Bakke, Theodore Thompson, Edwin Peterson, Marcus Hermann, Gust Becken, and Albert Phillips.
