Allmann, Nancy Ann (Marriage - 6 Oct. 1962)

Miss Nancy Ann Allmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Allmann of Colby, and Gerald M. Lesmeister, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Lesmeister of New Rockford, N. Dak., were united in marriage Saturday morning, Oct. 6, 1962, in St. Mary’s church in Colby, Wis., Rev. John Pinion officiating at the nuptial ceremony.

Sandy Allmann was maid of honor and Miss Marla Schnelle was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by William Jeske of Cambria, Wis., and Russell Allmann of Colby, Wis. Ushers were Harry Feirer and David Markus.

The bride was attired in a floor-length gown of peau taffeta and re-embroidered Alencon lace; the fitted bodice styled with lace appliquéd modified scoop neckline embroidered with sequins and pearls. The bouffant skirt front featured the Alencon lace appliqués with butterfly pouff enhancing the back of the skirt. Her bouquet consisted of heart of red and white roses.

The maid of honor and bridesmaid wore identical gowns of candy pink lace accented by satin bow and streamers from back neckline. Their bouquets consisted of candy pink and white carnations.

A reception was held at the Colby city hall and a dance was given at the Sportsmen’s Park in the evening. The couple left on a wedding trip to North Dakota.

The groom is in the U.S. Navy.

Guests were from New Rockford, N. Dak., Cambria, Marshfield, Poynette, Owen, Medford and Colby, Wis.
